Deer are adorable and curious creatures. We have seen and heard countless stories about deer roaming around our yard and observing every single detail that is new to them. This one curious deer, however, just bravely sneaks inside someone’s house.
This hilarious CCTV footage might just make your day better.
CCTV cameras are set up for extra security at home. Although, we could not deny that it sometimes catches the weirdest and funniest things on its lenses. In this particular household, the owners had set up a CCTV camera that keeps an eye on their front door.
Their front door has a doggy door installed so that their pets could have easy access to the yard. The owners just did not realize that their doggy door would invite a curious creature into their homes.
Their cat just got back from outside, but a minute later comes a deer fawn.
One early morning, the camera spotted the owner’s housecat entering through the doggy door.
It was just that, a minute after the cat entered, a baby deer welcomed itself inside the house, probably after seeing the cat entering the hole. He was probably curious about what was behind the white door and began examining it himself.
The fawn was too tall to reach the doggy door below but he managed to find his way in by folding his knees and fitting himself flexibly on the tiny square hole. The owners had no idea of the deer sneaking into their house.
They may just be extra surprised when they came out of their room to see the deer fawn making itself comfortable.
Usually, it is the squirrels or the raccoons that are found sneaking into the doggie doors. However, a deer invading a house is a rare occurrence. Deer are usually afraid of humans or any other creatures, but somehow this deer bravely entered the door with no one noticing.
The deer footage went viral on the internet after the owners shared it with a deer-related magazine.
Deer and Deer Hunting (D&DH) is a magazine publishing company that devoted themselves to deer and topics about deer hunting. They have become a part of the Media 360 LLC that is based in Waupaca, Wisconsin. Asides from them writing articles and documentations about deer, they also have a channel on YouTube wherein they upload a variety of clips ranging from deer hunting tips to hilarious and entertaining deer videos that they collected from people.
The owners of the house decided to share the CCTV footage to D&DH for everyone to see.
The clip racked up 3.6 million views on YouTube, and as expected, plenty of people have come to say their interesting and hilarious remarks about the video. There is no telling what happened after.
The owner’s cat might have invited the curious deer in the first place or the deer was just looking for the doorway to Narnia.
