Woman attempts to take family photo with cats and it ends disastrously

Cats are known for being some of the biggest drama queens out there, and hilarious videos of dramatic cats in the past of range from cats trying to push their owner out of their favorite chair, to cats throwing a tantrum because it’s not quite dinner time, to cats who refuse to walk when they’re put in a novelty sweater/harness/funny collar. Oftentimes, even the most simple things can cause a cat to have a dramatic meltdown, and their overreactions to such trivial things is what makes us love them all the more.

So when we came across a video of a woman’s disastrous attempt to take a photo with her three cats, it had us completely in stitches.

In the video shared onto Facebook, the woman can be seen holding the three cats as she tries to take the perfect shot. But one of her cats in particular isn’t too happy about this, and we’re left with some hilarious photographs! These will certainly brighten up your day today.

Caoimhe Nelson was at her home in Dublin, Ireland, where she was celebrating International Cat Day with her three kitties. To commemorate the special day, she decided to grab a quick snap of her holding her three cats in her arms.

As all of her fur babies are adults, Caoimhe knew this is might prove tricky to hold all three at the same time, but it was a challenge that she was willing to take on.

Caoimhe was successful in holding the three cats comfortably in her arms, but as the cat mom looked up towards the camera and smiled, there was one little guy who just wasn’t having it. Mooch, who Mooch, Caoimhe describes as, “my 14-year-old grumpy man,” decided that he wasn’t in the mood for photographs- nor been squashed up against his two brothers.

But instead of taking his anger out on his mom, Mooch decided instead to subject his poor brother to a fierce kitty attack.

The grumpy old guy let out a screech of a meow (we actually think there should be a sound warning on the video) and sinks his claws directly into the brother that just so happens to be close to him. Well, Mooch’s brother is not having this, and he proceeds to quickly begin a catfight with Mooch.

Naturally, Caoimhe’s smile is instantly replaced by one of the most comical-looking panicked faces we’ve ever seen, and as the two kitties fight, the white cat on the far right hastily struggles to get away from a fight that he clearly doesn’t want to be a part of. The video then cuts out, but we’re left with the belief that Caoimhe couldn’t have possibly managed to get any better snaps of her three cats. If there was ever a picture to accurately represent International Cat Day, then this would be it.

Caoimhe shared the hilarious video and pictures onto her Facebook page, along with the caption:

“Tried to take a nice family photo for international cat day. Mooch, my 14 year old grumpy man, did not appreciate being squished beside the 2 chonkers.”

Since then it’s been 551 times. We certainly think that more people deserve to see this masterpiece! Watch the hilarious video below.
