In fact, small things don’t even have to unlatch the door to get in.

Well, some dogs might chew a hole in the door, but others just welcome people to come by.

We’re not sure if this dog was purchased as a guard dog, but we think they should have gone with something less fluffy and adorable if they wanted to keep people away. This guy brings them in!

Well, that’s probably not great for the Roomba’s battery life, but it sure looks hilarious.

He’s just trying to help with the chores, but it’s probably supposed to be picking up dog hair, not acting as a doggie bumper car.

Buttons are fun! Dogs don’t normally push them very often, but when they do it’s almost always the wrong one.

If you’re going to teach your dog to behave in the car, perhaps the first trick should be “unlock.”

It was really nice of these dogs to give Christmas a try, but we’re not sure they fully understood the point of all that extra paper.

They look pretty hopeful that everyone will appreciate their efforts though.

Just blame Santa.

We’re pretty sure no one is having fun here.

Blue feels like he needs to protect everyone while they’re in the bathtub, but he also looks like he’d prefer people take fewer baths.

So relaxing.

We’re not exactly feeling the danger here.

Then again, he might be more fearsome when he’s awake.

These dogs are just trying to be good while their parents are away.

But they seem to be taking the “behaving” thing a little too seriously.

That or they’re playing the statue game, which we didn’t know dogs were into.

It’s not easy being green. But when someone mows the lawn and it smells oh-so-good, sometimes you just have to roll around in it.

Grass stains are hard enough to get out on clothing, but on white fur!?

NOT ideal.

He’s a dog AND a headwarmer. Isn’t it great that this dog-owner doesn’t even need a hat anymore?

It’s going to be a little hard to walk around, but sometimes you just have to accept the love.

Construction projects aren’t cheap, so we imagine this is going to be a paw print themed walkway.

Of course, he was probably just trying to stay out of the mud like a good boy.

We just really hope it’s not the neighbor’s dog.

Well that’s nice – he just wants to “bless” mom and dad’s marriage.

He has a funny way of showing it, but we’re guessing no one asked him to make a speech.

And, honestly, if you invite a dog to a wedding, what else can you expect? (At least, we hope that’s their dog!)

How is it the dog’s fault that you didn’t specify that he should sit NEXT TO his sibling?

Luckily, this is just as photo-worthy.

Aww, he was excited. In fact, he still looks excited.

We would definitely be frustrated by our bashed-in screen door and the lack of remorse (simply because dogs are incapable of it), but you can’t deny that it comes with the territory of having a big, joyful ball of fur around.

Dog-shaming is effective because it lets humans blow off steam and the dogs have no idea they’re in trouble. In fact, they think they’re getting attention.

Unless you hand your dog instructions with the toy, anything you give to them is techncially fair game for a disembowling.

That’s why you don’t hand them your childhood toy.

Honestly, we wonder why they even make stuffed toys for dogs. The stuffing inside can’t be good for anyone.

How can you not laugh?

If you own a dog, you’ve probably eaten a thing or two they’ve stuck their noses in, whether you know it or not.

A big dollop of whipped cream clearly looked like a bullseye for this funny guy.

We’re a little concerned about the potential for choking here, but we’re more perplexed by the dog’s desire to intubate itself rather than playing with the tube.

They’re adorable weirdos sometimes – ok, all the time.

We’d be frustrated by the digging (but it’s instinct, and it really can be hard – but not impossible – to train out of them) but we’re pretty sure once we saw this blooming boy we’d have to laugh.

Whether we could maintain the smiles during the dog bath and clean-up is another matter.

Pardon our language deficiencies, but if we’re going by contect clues, we’d have to guess the sign says “beware of viciously adorable goofballs who will make you late for wherever you’re headed because you will want to stop and pet them.”

Ok, so maybe the Germans are the only ones who can say that with such a short phrase.

Either way, we see some guard dogs in need of training.

That’s just “spit out your coffee” funny. Apologies if you were drinking wine and we made you spit that out. We blame the dog.

These toys really aren’t indestructable, no matter what they claim.

Do you get a refund if your dog becomes a supervillian?

Poor doggo doesn’t know how to just opt-out.

Life with a dog really is one big blooper real, isn’t it?

Ok, it’s really not funny when any creature bangs their heads. But dogs do seem to have thick noggins.

And we think it might have something to do with how many times they crash into things thinking that they’ll magically end up on the other side.

What a mighty stick! How proud he must have been to bring it to his owner to show off his stick-hunting prowess!

And how big the fail must have felt when he ended up stuck in the staircase.

This probably works as a metaphor for everyone’s life sometimes.

Ok, let’s be fair, when we’re not at work, we’re not at work.

This guy’s sniffer is clearly focused on something else at the moment.

Good thing he can’t see this photo later or he’d really be giving himself a facepalm.

What a good little girl she is for staying in her bag! You can’t always trust a dog to do that.

Of course, the part you rely on them to just sort of “get” on their own is the getting out when you get home part. Or at least leaping out when they’re about to fall over.

This dog is the worst safe-sex educator…wait, no, we’re pretty sure there are worse.

Just remember not to take condoms from dogs.

He’s just sayin’ “hey.” He’s happy mom’s back.

So happy that he’s stuck. Stuck on her, that is.

Well, and in the window.

Clearly someone did not rinse the dishes off very well.

It’s too bad human food isn’t good for dogs or we could just outsourse this chore to them and everyone would be happy.

Frankly, we think the bigger blooper probably came when he tried to extricate himself.

At least he didn’t eat all the corn. That’s good, right

Maybe he just saw a cage and felt like that was his outdoor safe place, complete with alternative treats.

Either way, we’re glad someone found him before he got too distressed.

Unfortunately, she forgot that lipstick goes on lips.

Then again, she doesn’t have thumbs, so maybe she really was trying to apply it correctly and just failed.

We’re not sure we’d bring the lawnmower that close to the dog, but she seems pretty unbothered by the whole thing.

She’s going to smell fresh-as-Spring all day long!

We just hope no one has allergies.

See, now if your dog does this often enough, that spot doesn’t accumulate the gross kind of dust.

It just accumulates the gross kind of dog hair.

But somehow that seemes easier to sweep out.

Again, did the dog get instructions?

Because if not, how do you expect them to learn to use the toy properly?

He does seem content to wear it though.

Aww, they’re always so happy to see their humans after some time away – window treatments be damned.

And all of your window treatments are, indeed, doomed once you get a dog.

But isn’t that happy smile worth it? Maybe?

Well that was helpful. He’s making sure there are no fish in there that need help.

Obviously, this could have ended badly, so we’re glad someone got ahold of him to lend a hand.

He looks like he might never try that again. Or hold off for at least a week.

This little goof is trying hard to stay on the chair that seems to have been made up for a nap.

Maybe the goal is just to stay on the towel.

But can they really sleep like that?

Hmm, well we’re pretty sure he went in there for more than a much-needed sip of water.

But did he try to chew his way in or out?

Or somehow both?

Aww, poor baby.

Saving your family from bees is a tough job. But that swelling will go down soon.

We almost can’t look – although she doesn’t seem to be in pain, just proud.

We’re not sure what she was going for here. A leap over the swing? An actual swing back and forth?

Now she looks like a horse at the vet.
