Excited dog tries to jump in Starbucks window to get his treat
You'd think Puppuccinos had some major caffeine in them to watch this big dog try to climb through the window to get to its treat!

Pics or it didn’t happen.

That’s what we say when someone tells us a wild story and have a hard time imagining it (or we just wish we had been there). But no one can tell Billie Reed she was embellishing the story when she tells people about the time she went to a Texas Starbucks and a dog tried to dive through the drive-thru window.

She’s got the video!

And it wasn’t even Pumpkin Spice season!

Back in February of 2020, Reed was waiting for her caffeine fix when the line got held up by an unruly pup in search of its Puppuccino.

It began when she first pulled up and noticed the dog was already out of the car and on the ledge where customers retrieve their orders.

Did someone not get enough foam?!

She then watched and laughed as the dog’s mom tried to hoist the creature down and back into the car. And she had at least two other feisty canines with her who needed to see the excitement.

And it’s a struggle – that dog does NOT want to get back in the car without whatever it went searching for.

We’d just love to know what the employees on the other side of the window were thinking!

Of course, this is funny because everyone was safe in the end.

We really do feel for the dog owner who was probably nervous about her pup’s safety. After all, you don’t expect them to high-tail it out of the car and into the drive-thru window!

It’s a big dog too, so it’s not an easy feat. First, she tries the paws, then attempts to get the dog’s back end off, all with no luck.

It’s in a pretty awkward position.

Obviously, the other dogs would like to “help” as well. And by help we mean get their faces directly in the way of the one thing that needs to be accomplished.

Luckily, the Starbucks-loving dog manages to dive back in the window with no further drama.

But just as mom tries to get herself back in the car, two dogs try to get out again.

What are they serving at this Starbucks?!

Is there something in the Puppuccinos we don’t know about?

Our puppuccinos come with a tiny milk bone. from r/starbucks

She manages to keep the dogs in the car this time as the barista hands over her order.

But the pups are pretty sure it’s ALL for them and that there’s no reason to wait for the cups to get in the car. Just like human siblings, they all seem to think if they don’t get to the goods first, someone else will steal it.

We’re not sure what kind of wrangling mom’s doing in there, but making sure you don’t spill the drinks while three large animals are crawling all over you is quite a feat.

Even after everything and everyone is inside, two dogs stick their heads out AGAIN. And honestly, at this point, we’d be winding up the windows since they clearly can’t be trusted not to hop out!

We wonder if this will be their last trip to Starbucks.
