Demi Moore has been in the spotlight for the past decades as a famous Hollywood actress.

We know a lot about her life, starting with her past marriages to three husbands: musician Freddy Moore, actor Bruce Willis, and actor Ashton Kutcher. She has three now-adult children with Bruce Willis. And she has starred in dozens of blockbuster movies.

One fact not a lot of people know is that Demi Moore is living and enjoying her single life now with her nine dogs.

Okay, technically, seven dogs are hers and two of them are her daughter Tallulah’s dogs. But it doesn’t stop her from loving those two dogs anyway.

Most of her dogs are Chihuahua mixes — plus a Dachshund and a Yorkie. They started living with her one by one after her divorce from Ashton Kutcher. They’re all small dogs, maybe less than 15 lbs, and she brings them everywhere.

In fact, one of the Chihuahuas, Pilaf, or her “little shadow,” accompanies her almost everywhere. Pilaf has even gone with her to the Louvre Museum in Paris, France, AND the French Open. This lucky dog is definitely living a luxurious life!

Demi loves her dogs so much that she’s not in any hurry to date, let alone get married!

In fact, she’s taking the time to just enjoy her own company and her life with her dogs.

“I feel like, most importantly, this time has been about being in a relationship with myself and that relationship with myself needing to be whole and complete before I could really open to someone else,” Demi said.

But she’s not closing her doors to a possible future relationship. It’s just not her current priority.

“I hope that there is a partner in my future when it’s the right time. I think we’re a communal species — we’re not supposed to be alone — although I’ve gotten very comfortable alone — me and my seven dogs. My aunt gave me a pillow that says ‘I sleep with dogs’ and I do, but maybe I can make a little room in the king-size bed,” Demi added.

For now, though, Demi Moore is perfectly content with her blended family.

She and her three daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah have a great relationship. Demi has also maintained a great friendship with her ex-husband, Bruce Willis, as well as Bruce’s current wife, Emma Heming, and their two daughters.

In fact, they spent months on lockdown in 2020 in her Idaho mansion. All eight of them (plus the nine dogs) were quarantined for months in the same house. And they all came out of that lockdown still on good terms with each other.

After living an abusive and neglected childhood, it’s comforting to know that Demi finally has the life she’s always wanted and worked hard for all these years.

Her dogs love her and she wants nothing but to just love them back.
