He might look like a little hairpiece walking around out there, but we still have plenty to be jealous of.

We’re feeling really bad about our COVID hair right now and this luscious guinea pig fur is making us fondly remember the days of uncomplicated salon visits.

Maybe we can just play with his/her hair instead!

The chunky highlights are a little ’90s, but if that’s how Mother Nature made you then you have an excuse.

We wonder if this sweet animal has an attitude to match its style.

We’re not always thrilled when people treat their pets like dolls, but if your sweet little guinea pig needs to keep that glorious hair out of its eyes, then we see where one might not have a choice.

What a stunner!

We all look more mysterious in black and white photos, but this little guinea pig has the “it” factor.

It’s kind of like a reverse mullet, but at the same time it’s got two important elements of the “Karen” cut as well – one just happens to be on its bum.

Then again, we love this creature and find it so fascinating to look at!

It’s probably not wise to take wisdom from a guinea pig, but this one looks like it has some to dole out.

That face fur looking like a beard also adds to the whole “sage advisor” vibe.

These are cavvies and they’re members of a 5-guinea pig family with their own Instagram page called The Piggie Blinders.

We’re pretty sure the one with the stylish crown is Arthur.

And he’s really rocking the tri-colored look too.

This is definitely model hair.

Did you know guinea pigs are sometimes bred to be show animals?

We think this might be a Sheba (we’re still not great at our guinea pig breed IDs) and we’re voting for him or her!

There’s something so amusing about pets with human hairstyles (even though animals are not toys).

This little top tail is way cool, though it appears it was just a one-day thing.

Silkies and Teddy breeds have the same coloring but different types of hair. This little creature is kind of an in-between since it’s hair is more of a medium length.

It could just be a juvenile, but the point is that it’s still better-groomed than we are right now!

Well how cute would you look if you were munching on a carrot and no one had styled your hair yet?

We’re just glad guinea pigs can’t use the Internet because this one might be mad about an unflattering photo going around (even though we can tell it has majestic hair the rest of the time).

We’re pretty sure this is an Abyssinian Satin and we’d also like to know how the hair upkeep is.

Sometimes their hair grows in completely separate swirls!

What we love about this guy or gal is the ability to see all the personality in that little face!

We hope it’s still easy for them to get around because we can only imagine how amazing this looks blowing in the wind as it’s running around.

This is a Cavvie breed named Tirimisu – so fitting!

Someone went a little heavy on the cream, but we’re pretty obsessed with that big, lucious tuft of white hair.

And that fade over the crown? Perfection.

They aren’t all perfect hair days.

But we don’t constantly coif either if we’re just hanging out in the grass.

This is George. His hair is so long it now needs to be washed and blow-dried (though we’re not sure how often)!

Her name is PigWig and we can see why!

She’s a Peruvian and we might just take her photo to our next styling appointment.

Abyssinian guinea pigs (the two on the left) have these little whirls of fur all over the bodies and each animal can have 8-10 total.

While these particular Abyssinians are just one color, the breed can have up to 5 different shades of fur on their bodies!

This is Oreo getting a haircut and we’re pretty jealous that he doesn’t have to wear a mask to go into the salon.

This gives you an idea of just how much cutting and styling can be involved if you have a long-haired guinea pig (and how much potential there is for messing it up if you try to cut their hair on your own!).

We’re obsessed with Amy’s hair and its ability to just stylishly curl under without the help of a flat iron.

How did Mother Nature give guinea pigs such good hair while so many humans missed out?!

We knew at some point that curly-haired gene would appear.

His name is Hero and we’re just going to warn you ahead of time that you’ll be spending too much time on he and his siblings’ Instagram page.

We’re pretty obsessed.

This little piggy got a haircut and you can see the result if you scroll to the second photo.

We like it long, but sometimes it’s just too warm in the summer!

We can never get our tresses to do that little S-shaped curl on the side.

We’re genuinely jealous of this rodent. (And that’s not something we ever pictured ourrselves saying.)

The wet look is an acquired taste and George has recently gotten a trim, but we just can’t get over how much it looks like human hair!

Seriously, these animals are hair goals!

But we know how spicy those gingers can be.

Kudos to this guinea pig for staying still long enough to get the perfect cut!

Beatrix is a Sheltie breed, meaning she’s long-haired but with a less dense coat than some other breeds.

She looks a little like a possum in this photo, but don’t tell her we said so.

Arthur eating fresh grass on a cushion is the very piggification of living your best life!

That little splurt of hair on top of his head is so charming!

Bellden Danley de la Montagne is giving Fabio a run for his money.

And with a name like that you know he is a show pig.

He definitely looks like he thinks the birthday balloon is too gauche for his kind of party.

It looks like someone’s bangs are growing back at a different rate all over.

Then again, it’s kind of a cool look that only a guinea pig could sport with style.

With no crown to speak of, this guinea pig is fully aerodynamic.

And that tri-colored fur is is really working for him or her!

This is Markle (and yes, she has a sister named Meghan).

She’s a long-haired breed but just a baby, so you can see that they don’t start out with that glorious mane. (Then again, neither did Meghan Markle).

We’re obsessed with the detail we can see here.

It gives us a great idea of how their hair swirls around their faces in some breeds.

Poor piggie – those bangs look like a punishment.

This is why we never cut our hair at home! Always seek the help of a professional!

This is Achilles and he’s the long-haired guinea pig we’ve been waiting for.

He looks like he knows precisely how glamorous his hair is and that we’re lucky to gaze upon its beauty.

You can be the exact opposite of Achilles and still be gorgeous too! Maybe that’s just the beauty of guinea pigs.

We’re in love with little puffy pig and his spiky little coat.

Some creatures can really pull off the messy bedhead look and still look cool.

We are not one of those creatures.

But this friend in the front certainly is.

Could the next hair color fad come from guinea pigs?

Stranger things have happened.

We wouldn’t be surprised if an undercoat of ginger and a topping of platinum is the next big thing.

That sweep of hair coming from the eyes and curling under is just mesmerizing.

We think we like our guinea pigs with a swirly little crown, but that doesn’t take anything away from this finely-coiffed critter.

That moment when you and your friend are meeting all of your hair goals at the same time.
